Technical Writer
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, write, and own the development of critical IT security documentation for Government projects, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Policies, and Procedures.
- Scope project requirements, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and commit to delivery schedules while ensuring all work aligns with NIST standards and publication processes.
- Build strong collaborative relationships with clients, security engineers, and account managers to gather information and facilitate project success.
Qualifications & Skills
- BA/BS degree or equivalent, plus a minimum of 1 year of experience creating technical documents.
- Excellent writing skills with a proven ability to produce clear, compliant policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Basic knowledge of enterprise networking and core IT security concepts is required.

Security Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and manage security scanning using a suite of tools (e.g., Nessus, nmap, Snort) to identify and mitigate risks.
- Harden and secure diverse operating systems (Windows, Solaris, RedHat) and implement robust security configurations across complex internetworking infrastructures.
- Provide expert security consulting to clients, delivering clear communication and detailed documentation to guide security strategy and remediation efforts.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in information security.
- Extensive, hands-on experience with Cisco networking/security products and core internetworking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
- Proven consulting ability with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be local to the Washington DC metro area and willing to travel. Possession of relevant certifications (CISSP, SANS/GIAC) is required

Security Analyst
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the full product life cycle implementation of advanced security solutions for federal clients, from design and testing to deployment.
- Provide clear project and technical leadership within the IT Security team, guiding security initiatives to successful completion.
- Execute and oversee critical security processes including Assessment & Authorization (A&A), Security Test & Evaluation (ST&E), and Vulnerability Assessments.
Qualifications & Skills
- CISSP certification is required, along with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Federal Government IT Security projects.
- Proven expertise in key security disciplines such as Penetration Testing, Risk Management, and ST&E.
- Excellent writing and communication skills are essential, with the ability to demonstrate clear technical leadership capabilities.
